Dr. Shaheen Moezzi, Sedation Service

Dr. Moezzi works closely with our practice to provide sedation for our patients. Dr. Moezzi is originally from Las Vegas, NV. After high school, he attended the University of Nevada Reno majoring in Economics.  During college he was fortunate enough to study abroad in Costa Rica for a semester. While there, he was able to learn conversational Spanish, which has proven useful when communicating with patients.

Dr. Moezzi received his dental degree from the University of Southern California in 2011 before completing a three-year Residency in Oral/Maxillofacial Anesthesiology at The Ohio State University. After residency, he stayed on as a full-time Anesthesia Attending Faculty until 2014 when he relocated to Denver to work in private practice limited to providing Anesthesia services for dentists and dental specialists. Dr. Moezzi is currently a part-time Clinical Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine where he enjoys working with the residents and students. Additionally, Dr. Moezzi remains active in organized dentistry and serves as the Chair of the Colorado Dental Association’s New Dentist Committee.  Dr. Moezzi is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology.
